The MHS Boys Varsity Soccer team started the season guns blazing, winning six games, tying 3 and losing none to remain unbeaten through October 7.

Four-year Varsity player Dylan Buchanan took on a new role, making the switch to defense and so far his speed has made it tough for opponents. Senior Michael Caridi joins Buchanan in front of senior goalie Jack Lasbury-Casey who has been stellar in goal. The Hornets midfield features senior Captain Matty Hyland and Danny Rowe along with juniors Grady Sullivan and Connor Palinski whose exhilarating play catapulted the Hornets up the Hockomock League rankings where they held the number one spot until a 3-0 loss October 7th against the mighty Canton Bulldogs.

That games was followed by another hard fought 0-1 loss on the 12th against Oliver Ames. The Hornets look to bounce back on Friday, October 15 in a home game Milford High who they beat earlier in the season, at 6 pm.
